Off-Grid Tiny Home
Living in a small, remote, and off-grid home in Northern Alberta, Neil utilized diesel generators and a small solar PV system for his electrical needs.
| About: | Realizing the ever increasing cost of diesel fuel and the hours of maintenance required to keep his generator running, Neil approached SURFACE looking for a solution. |
| Work: | SURFACE removed Neil’s old solar PV system and installed a new 1 kW solar PV system combined with an energy storage system. |
| Result: | Now Neil is able to power his small home and watch his flat screen TV without having to deal with his “fussy” diesel generator. |
